Errors and authentication
What to do when the connector rejects a request or asks you to sign in.
Authentication
- Confirm OAuth (ChatGPT, Claude) or a valid API key in the client.
- Check Registre accounts in Studio (Studio → Développeurs → Comptes Registre).
- Use Test keys or connections for training.
Common cases
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| Unauthorized | Reconnect OAuth at fonciq.ca or rotate the key in Studio. |
| Rate limited | Pause automated loops in the assistant. |
| Invalid arguments | Provide lot, address, or filing number explicitly. |
| Wallet or cap | Check the wallet under Studio → Développeurs; the OAuth daily cap can block an action before the wallet balance is exhausted. |
