# Errors and authentication

What to do when the connector rejects a request or asks you to sign in.

## Authentication

1. Confirm **OAuth** (ChatGPT, Claude) or a valid **API key** in the client.
2. Check **Registre accounts** in Studio (**Studio → Développeurs → Comptes Registre**).
3. Use **Test** keys or connections for training.

## Common cases

| Symptom | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| Unauthorized | Reconnect OAuth at fonciq.ca or rotate the key in Studio. |
| Rate limited | Pause automated loops in the assistant. |
| Invalid arguments | Provide lot, address, or filing number explicitly. |
| Wallet or cap | Check the wallet under **Studio → Développeurs**; the **OAuth daily cap** can block an action **before** the wallet balance is exhausted. |
