# Billing

Shared Studio wallet, daily cap per OAuth connection, and Test mode for the Fonciq AI connector.

The AI connector uses the **same Fonciq wallet** as Studio and HTTP API v1. Billable registry documents follow [fonciq.ca/tarifs](https://fonciq.ca/tarifs).

## What triggers a charge (no amounts here)

Orders that produce an **official registry document** (index, deed, plan, etc.) are **billed at cost** — Fonciq does not add a margin. **Lookups without a document**, **flood-zone** checks (**free**, with the usual caveat: no result does not mean the property is outside a flood zone), and **Test mode** do not debit the real wallet the same way as a production Registre order. ## Wallet

- Balance belongs to your **organization** in Studio.
- Registre fees, when a registry is consulted, are passed through **at cost** to the configured Registre account holder.

## OAuth connections

Each MCP connection can have an organization **daily spend cap** in addition to wallet balance.

## Test mode

**Test** keys and connections (`fq_test_…`) let you practice without debiting the **real wallet**.

## Lookups without a document

Some steps — for example resolving an address or reading a lot record already on file — do not deliver a new registry PDF and do not trigger the same fees as ordering an index or deed. Your assistant can tell you when a step is informational only.
